is there a way I can allow user's to Sync SharePoint Site Document Libraries, but not allow them to keep files on this device?

 

we have some users that mistakenly click keep files on this device for entire document libraries of 300k files+

 

any help appreciated.

Hi there is a GPO to convert libraries to online only.

 

The GPO is called

 

Convert synced team site files to online-only files

I've never used it myself as some of our staff do keep their files all on the device.
