Anyone have a one-way window in their office?

I'm starting to get a spate of students knocking at the door and running off. Usually I can hear them running off but not all the time. We have got some blocked windows to the side of the door that I could use to see out of and wondered if anyone had used that one-way window film that you can apply and how successful it is? I think students may still be able to peer in depending on light levels.

 

Please don't say put a camera up. I don't want to go down that route.

I've done the Minibus, and loads of office windows as well as the IT suite windows both for security and to stop kids being idiots during the staggered playtimes. I also just do external window tints for DSE complaince so that blinds can be open for natural light but the users don't get dazzled!

Not wanting to be that person but most schools want unobstructed views into offices and classes for safeguarding. One way film may fall foul of that.

 

The film works well though, had it on external facing windows on some small IT suites as they got to hot. Even face pressed against the glass it is hard to see in.

We don't ever mirror door panel windows, only windows and only after SLT have said yes...
