kennysarmy Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 If anyone is using Bromcom through SWGfL or similar please can they let me know. We are getting timeout issues when running reports. Smoothwall have checked all their settings and believe they are not filtering in any way the traffic, yet when we bypass the smoothwall the reports eventually complete. They think there could be some kind of "double-filtering" issue :/ Interested in other school's setups....
supportman Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) We moved away from our SEGFL almost 10 years ago now, not sure your use case for still using it, but a standard 500mbit line from BT is about half the price Do they still require firewall changes centrally, maybe its just a port or something...
