Web based questionnaire to Access/SQL express dB

I've been asked to setup a Questionnaire on our Intranet which will talk to an Access or SQL express dB. It'll be used to ask questions about routes to schools for pupils, and will possibly have up to 60 (or more) pupils accessing it at the same time. The queries, etc, are being done by our head of IT and I'm going to be doing some googling and playing today, but does anyone have an idiots guide on where to start!! It's been years since I've done any Access work...........

You could use Survey Monkey

Depending on your web language skills you could setup an old box with PHP/Apache/mySQL and make an intranet page on there.

It might seem a bit overkill but how about installing Sharepoint services?

Thanks, just looked into that, but unfortunately the free version is only up to 100 responses. I don't think the school will pay for the higher response version, also not sure we could pay by Purchase Order and queries need to be run on the information, etc, etc................

 

I've no experience of Sharepoint, and my Apache and MySQL skills aren't too hot either........... It's going to be a steep learning curve!
