Chclark Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Okay, it sounds like i'm manually adding the devices to the group after enrollment to then pull everything down. I'll setup a dynamic group similar to yours as that sounds like its a lot easier. thanks for the info! No problem hope it helps but just shout if you need anything. We don't push any of the intune/company portal apps these only seem to be needed for a Byod or device a user signs into. Ours are just pick up and use shared devices.
Quinn Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Out if interest, is it normal for Intune to take almost a day to push an app out that has recently been assigned to a device group?
Chclark Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Out if interest, is it normal for Intune to take almost a day to push an app out that has recently been assigned to a device group? Not that I've noticed usually 10-15 minutes sometimes quicker, android seems to be even faster to push apps out from intune it's near instant that they pick it up.
Quinn Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 We bought an app yesterday on Apple School Manager. Still nothing in Intune today and the VPP token was last synced yesterday. Seems a bit strange having to physically click sync each time. Have you had this issue as well?

I generally manually run the sync if I know I've just purchased apps for them to show up quicker once I've done this then usually in 5 mins it appears in the apps list after a refresh. But I've left it before also and next day apps have been waiting.
Quinn Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Okay thanks for the insight! Only just started using Intune for Apple devices as we were previously using apples 'server' app to manage devices. Cheers

I've mainly know schools use lightspeed had a few in meraki and one is mosyle I quite like intune and with abit of effort works well for the trust I work for now. Moved all the individual schools devices into a single ASM account for easy management. 1
