I've got a student that is constantly being kicked into recovery mode on their (or any other) Chromebook. I was wondering if:

1, There was anyway of blocking students from being able to enter recovery mode, as it's a very easy way to get out of lessons?

2, Is there anything (software, profile, extension etc) that can trigger recovery mode other than pressing the required key combination that may explain why a student keeps getting kicked into it? I don't believe she is doing it intentionally...

Thanks

if its going into recovery mode its likely been forcibly powered off when rebooting and updating - had it happen a few times because it just "black screens" for a bit

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think it's that.

Either she is hitting the key combo to get out of lessons, or something software related is kicking in. I'm suspecting the former, as when I log into her account, nothing I do triggers it. Therefore, I'd really like to block the key combo if I can!
