Intune iOS App Management and Updates

Has anyone else had any experience with managing iOS Apps successfully in Intune with regards to keeping them up-to-date? We've moved to Intune from Lightspeed MDM where you could approve and deploy an update to an app and then update said app on groups of iPads but on Intune that doesn't appear to be an option. I can deploy apps without issue but I am running into issues where Showbie, Teams etc need updates to function correctly or include newer features and I'm hitting a brick wall.

 

Online searches seem to indicate that MS haven't implemented this feature yet..

 

I feel I can't be the only one pulling my hair out on this!
