Head teacher says she doesnt have access to the Google contacts Chrome page app

Head contacted me to say an email address was not correct, so I directed her to the contacts Icon (3x3 dots, on blank Chrome page), and she says she doesnt have the icon. I then sent her a link to the contacts page and she said it says no contacts.

 

Then I thought perhaps the app is disabled in Google admin, but there doesnt seem to be an 'on / off' type of app in the admin GUI for this.

 

Any ideas.

Directory settings > Visibility settings

 

Check which OU's it's applied to etc etc

It's set to 'All Users' for the OU the head is in, so looks like that is correct.

Might she need to scroll down in that apps launcher menu for find it? There also used to be a G Suite/Workspace dashboard page that would list all available apps for a user, but I can't remember the URL.

Just send her directly to https://contacts.google.com

 

But it's likely its on the second page of icons.

The icons can be reordered by dragging them, so it might have been accidentally moved to lower in the list.
