Theldron Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Hi all, We have a Salto system which was working fine before half-term but now, when we go onto online monitoring, it is saying all the access points are not connected and that an address is required. This is what we see, could this be firewall? Though can't see why it would just happen. Thanks
Carrot63 Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Hi Did you find out what the cause of this issue was? We are having exactly the same problem. Thanks
Theldron Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Hi Did you find out what the cause of this issue was? We are having exactly the same problem. Thanks Hi, Not yet, it seems to be a firewall problem. We are still looking at it, got a card printing problem now. The only thing I was told, is make sure any IP addesses in your System - Salto Network, are available nothing is blocking them. Not sure if that will help. Take care.
Carrot63 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 OK thanks. We have tried switching the Windows Firewall off temporarily and also bypassing the main Firewall and it still showed the intermittent issue. It worked fine until September for us and we have had it for years so we are at a loss. We did move form VMWare toi Hyper-V over the summer so we are wondering whether it is linked to the multiple nics on hosts issue but our Hyper-V people are looking into this possibility at the moment. We have already disabled VMQ on the network card which is one of Saltos suggestions. We just keep being told by Salto it is a network issue of ours, not their problem. If we do get anywhere I will let you know. Thanks
taylorham1020 Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Did anyone ever get a solution to this?
Theldron Posted November 30, 2023 Author Posted November 30, 2023 Hi, we got this sorted our side, from what I remember it needed a Salto software update.
