Hi all,

I have got some really old RM all in one PCs that up until recently have been running fairly well. Budgets are tight so I have upgraded them with SSDs.

Recently though they have started installing a Graphics driver via Windows update that causes the display to go blank. I can remove the driver using safe mode and reboot but when I next come in the driver has installed again. This is despite me setting them not to install drivers via Windows update by GPO.

Can anyone think of a way I can block this driver from installing? I have tried registry changes, cleared the Windows update software distribution folder but the driver still installs itself no matter what I do, its driving me crazy.

If you roll the driver back on the device manager properties it should stick with the older driver - you won't have to uninstall the new one.

Thanks. That seems to work. At the moment it doesnt look like its trying to install it again. Strange that I have drivers turned off by GPO though but it still does it anyway.
