FN-GM Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Does anyone know have any information on the release of 21H2 please? I could do with getting this into service for a couple of reasons. 1. We are expected lots of new devices to arrive in the next few weeks. 2. Christmas will be an ideal time to upgrade the rest of the fleet. Thanks
Steve21 Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 It's already on release preview channel so guessing it'll still be soon unless anything major is found as it's still showing as the November update Steve
ITGuyNW Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Yeah it's sometime this month. It would be nice if it was released today to coincide with patch tuesday.
Arthur Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 Does anyone know have any information on the release of 21H2 please? With rollout of 21H2, Microsoft moves Windows 10 to annual updates Microsoft also is making 21H2 available starting today to admins using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Windows Update for Business, the Software Download Center/Media Creation Tool and the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). AS of today, the promised Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel) 2021 release also is available. This edition will be supported for five years, rather than 10, as Microsoft previously acknowledged. 2
Steve21 Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 Looks like all the 21H1 updates are re-released too as suddenly got a few dozen appearing again in SCCM (I decline all the ones we don't want to tidy up the console), so guessing if anyone's sticking to that it's still worth updating your deployments Steve
FN-GM Posted November 17, 2021 Author Posted November 17, 2021 Does anyone know where one can find the ADMX files please? I have found this but it showing as Windows 11 21H2? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=103507 Thanks
