Dfe Hp 255 G7 : Cant get past "connect to microsoft" on set -up

Hi

Ive got a DFe laptop : Ive got in the bios and reset everthing. Ive wiped the disk with diskapart.

I use our win 10 edu 1709 disk and it installs.

Unfortually on the set up after Cortana Welcome it tried to connect to Msft. Usually we get the option to skip this, but its missing. Iam assiming ot got somethinkg to do with Intune, Bios, HP .

 

Has anybody come acroos this?

You need an active internet connection as these were enrolled in Intune and used Autopilot previously. Something is probably being blocked. Fastest way I found to get around this was connecting them to a 4G hotspot to get past this point.

I had this issue, ended up building an unattend file that skips this part of the setup, placing it on the root of the USB drive and reinstalling.

unplug the ethernet go back then forward.
