SIMS and GIAP

Is anyone else having issues with exporting KS2 data from Get Information About Pupils (GIAP) as a CTF and importing it into SIMS?

 

The first issue is that the file is downloaded with just the name CTF so you have to be aware of the CTF naming structure in order to manually rename the file otherwise SIMS will not even see the file. However the main issue I am having is that the DOB is either missing from the outputted file (even though it does show in the search list) or if the DOB is included it has reversed the day and month resulting in invalid or conflicting matches when you do import it into SIMS (the DOB does show the correct way around on the search results page).
