JamesNorris85 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Hello all, I was curious to find out what people are using for their remote learning tools we had to implement last year. I understand MS Teams and Google are very popular, are there any other big names out there to keep an eye out for? THanks
Brimstone Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Most schools would have MS or G Suite as their back end for both of these solutions. Seesaw is used mainly in Primary schools in the UK https://web.seesaw.me Showbie is one of the most powerful remote learning tools and is being used by every student across the roll out of thousands of iPads in Scotland. https://www.showbie.com Both tools are device independent and work on iOS, Android and web
paulkerton Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Moodle and Firefly are other solutions people use too. But Microsoft and Google are by far and away the most popular tools.
Rob_D Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 If we're talking VLE's Frog is the other big one https://frogeducation.com/ The other that's come up a few times for us was Teachstream https://www.teachstream.co.uk/
xicor Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 we use, Microsoft Teams, Seesaw, Showbie, myON, TTRS, and few others
