Hi

Our boards have come with an Android OPS as well as the inbuilt android on the panel. Can anyone advise if there are any disadvantages of using one or the other? If I'm honest the OPS seems faster especially wen screen mirroring but the inbuilt android seems a bit clicker to use as all the features are part of the panel. I don't want to confuse staff and would prefer to use one or another. Any opinions are welcome.The boards are the latest titanium models

We've a couple of smart boards with the Android OPS. We don't use them as I recon it'd cause more issues than they're worth, I set the default input to HDMI and left it at that

@titch,

I guess this would come down to personal preference, though I would probably say its easier and quicker to stick to the built in ActivPanel Android OS to get familiar with the new equipment for the teachers.

Your OPS may have better hardware than the on board android, however if you've got a Windows device plugged in like we do, the OPS never gets used. Using reflector 2 for screen mirroring and USB Visualisers via the windows Camera app.
