10G Issue

I have a Lenovo Rackswitch NE1032 with a 10BASET SFP+ transceiver connected. Through this connection, I can access anything that is connected to the switch directly but nothing that is connected through the switch's uplinks. If I take the 10G transceiver out and put my 1G transceiver back I can access local and remote. This is the strangest issue I have ever experienced and I've checked VLANs etc and port speeds and everything is set correctly. Anyone else experienced anything as strange?
