Hi there,

Hopefully theres some Storage Spaces Direct wizards out there that might be able to help?

I've been setting up a 2 node hyper-converged cluster with storage spaces direct. Cluster has been setup but I've been having some challenges setting up storage spaces direct for the 5 nvme drives on each node.

After using Enable-ClusterStorageSpacesDirect I get 3 warnings:

  • AutoConfig will be disabled as more than one faultdomain site containing nodes was found
  • Node1: No disks found to be used forcache
  • Node 2:No disks found to be used forcache

Errors/info in the EnableCLusterS2D logs

2a28.37f0 2021/08/06-10:26:41.740 WARN cluswmi::S2DHelper::WaitHealthAction: Could not retrieve HEALTH_SETS2DUSAGE_RESULT_NAME. Using Get-ClusterStorageSpacesDirect It shows the state has been enabled

Storage pools stay in a Primordial state and do not span all of the nodes and are not available to create a volume. I can create individual storage pools on the nodes but the maximum space will only be the size of the drives on that host.

Cluster validation goes through fine with nothing mentioning storage.

Many thanks
