S2D HyperV Cluster updating

Just had a new shiny S2D HyperV cluster installed and wondered how people who already use S2D install updates?

 

Do you use Cluster Aware Updating or some other method?

 

I understand that when a node has been rebooted it has to resync - understandably I’m not keen on breaking it so soon!

We use Cluster Aware Updating to update our 3 nodes.

 

it applies the updates to all 3 nodes. Reboots one, waits till it has installing the updates, syncs the disks and then moves onto the next node. we schedule ours to run at a specific time, but still "approve" updates for it via Wsus
