External People Viewing Free/Busy Information Of Internal Office 365 Users

Hello,

We have a group of consultations working with our company. They need to see the Free/Busy status of our staff members Office 365 calendars so they can book appointments. Ideally I don't want them to create accounts for them, plus it will be a little messy.

Can anyone suggest something that could accommodate this please?

Thanks

I know you can share individual calendars outside the organisation/tenancy, but it literally is read only. Not 100% sure whether they can see the user status, but I'm guessing the answer would be no.

Not sure I'm afraid. At a guess, given the context I would interpret that to mean "this doesn't work in the scenarios where a user has an external person in their personal contact in outlook, however that person is not in the global address list in their home tenant (because some orgs split up the address lists for various reasons)"

Thank you!

Do you know what the below means please? What is a personal contact please?

If you want to be able to find the consultants in the GAL to do free/busy, it needs to be a admin created contact. I wouldn't bother though, just add the domain in Organisation-> Sharing-> Org Sharing

You can actually add any organisation if you fancy noseying at to what O365 domains they have :-)
