Upgrading Windows 10 on a dual boot Mac

Complete Novice when it comes to Mac,

 

I've inherited a suite full of Mac's, currently they dual boot with an older version of Windows 10. What i want to know is can i update just the windows side of the dual boot to the latest version of Windows 10? If so how do i go about it?

I've not done this, but see no reason why it wouldn't work. Either an in place upgrade or mounting a virtual ISO will display on the boot screen - holding the Alt/Option key for 10 seconds at startup.

I've had no problem just updating Windows on my personal Mac through Windows Update or the Upgrade Assistant. It's no different to a normal Windows install for the most part.
