Corel Academic Site License - requirement to sign in?

Just purchased a site licence for Corel which includes the following packages:

 

CorelDRAWGraphicsSuite2021

 

Corel_Painter_2022

 

Paint Shop Pro 2021

 

VideoStudio2020_Lite

 

Corel_PDF_Fusion

 

AfterShot3HDR & PhotoZoom_Pro_4_Setup

 

All great and all install fine.

 

 

When we run some apps, eg Corel Draw you can skip the sign in.

 

 

But when we attempt to open Corel Painter...

 

 

No such skip option.

 

Surely they don't' expect all the students to create accounts?

 

Raised a support call with Corel and explained the issue twice and this is there BEST reply so far!

Anyone else using Corel software and found a way to bypass the sign in screen?

Yeah, different licenses allow for different features like removing the cloud login requirement. My Corel licence doesn't allow you to create an MSI deployable! You can go through the motions but it fails! spent 2 weeks figuring that one out!

 

You have to configure the setup.exe to turn off internet and cloud features. internetfeatues=0 and corperatecloud?!?!

On-site smoothwall proxy bypassed and just going straight out via SWGfL proxy.

If I hotspot off my phone it works so something on SWGfL/RM side is blocking the connection
