Mirroring App (Android and Amazon Store)

Does anyone know if any app exists for Android TV and Amazon Fire TV that supports being a receiver for?

 

Miracast - Windows

AirPlay - IOS

 

I've tried a few and Miracast support seem hard to come by.

The fire tv supports miracast (just push and hold the home button) if that is what you mean?

From Chrome you can car either the current tab or the whole desktop.

For Windows this might be worth a go if you want a dedicated app. Possible it won't play ball with Android TV, but the protocol must be based on Chromecast in some way:

So natively

 

Fire Stick: Miracast and casting from android. But no airplay.

 

Android TV: Casting from Android Only.

 

There's quite a bit of latency with the Chromecast when used from Chrome/Edge.

 

This seemed the best app which didn't require any apps on the source device.

But Miracast doesn't work.
