Clever touch M series

Anybody had good experiences of clevertouch M series ?

Hi, we had a demo of the 75" recently and are about to deploy across our school over the summer. We were very happy with the demo unit, especially with the value, albeit it's our first interactive display panel (we're still projectors at the moment). We heard from more than 1 person who speculated that the M series might possibly be cheaper because it might be based on an older model, but for our purposes where we just need basic features at good value (plus a decent warranty period), it fit our requirements very nicely regardless. Plus we didn't see anything that seemed outdated when reviewing the demo. As the M series isn't available through most suppliers, there seems to be different opinions on it depending who you ask, with many suppliers never having seen the unit in real life themselves.

Has anyone got specs on the M Series (Or even a ball park figure) to compare?

Are these plain touch Vs the impact ones that have Android OS?

 

A small quirk in them Impacts the freeze button is a search and the remote

option is a blue unmarked button, like what they where thinking?

 

They have a free MDM solution.

We're in a shootout between Viewsonic and Clevertouch and the Clevertouch model under consideration is the M-series.

 

Staff saw both vendors last night and are giving feedback today, I have a new block of 4 classrooms in which we hope to get them all kitted out with one or the other in the next few weeks.

 

We're in Cheltenham if you fancied a visit.

From memory the M-Series we had demo'd did have android. Some of the settings on it and the screen sharing app were clearly Android based. The freeze button I think is similar to what you described on the Impact and it did seem very arbitrary but I guess it'll be quickly learned by the staff; I think you have to choose the magnifying glass icon on the toolbar. I can't remember what the freeze button was on the remote control. Changing the volume takes a couple of taps as well, where I would have assumed there would be dedicated physical button on the board. Another arbitrary feature was when annotating on top of your computer screen, there's no onscreen eraser and using the back of the pen didn't work at erasing either, instead you have to wipe the screen with a fist or open palm. These quirks might trip up new users but can be quickly learned.

Has anyone managed to follow the guide to create the custom MSI's for myViewBoard ?

After Orca opens, click Transform > New Transform.

On the left panel, click Property.

On the right panel, locate and update the ORGANIZATION value to the preferred entity name.

 

I don't have an ORGANIZATION value :/
