[bromcom] Anybody help with Bromcom "Ad-Hoc Reports" permissions

Hi all,

 

I have logged with with Bromcom development, but not had a reply yet. (5 days ago)

 

Having a lot of problems with setting up AdHoc Reporting permissions for our users. Basically we're not getting the icons in the "Report Domains" section (image 3) for the staff to create their own reports.

 

I have tried applying all the original BromCom (Image 1) created roles to a user and then tried applying all our new roles (image 2) created roles to a user to basically try and work out where the permissions lie - and we can't see anything.

 

The only user that allows us to move on with AdHoc Reporting is Administrator (image 3).

 

Hopefully this makes sense. Anybody have an idea on what i've missed?

Stab in the dark - when you edit a permission role, and go to the module "reporting", you get a button appear next to the module name that says "Report Design Permission" - when you click on it you get a whole load of other checkboxes related to (I assume) what people are allowed to report out of the system. Wondering if perhaps yours are all unchecked?

No worries, @SpreadsheetJockey managed to point me in the right direction just before i got a response from Bromcom.
