Smart cards and OWA

Hi all,

 

I have a Yubikey to test. Got it all working fine for my AD account, but the OWA and the email client on my phone wouldn't work, which made sense. I had a Google and found this;

But do I want only Windows authentication, or is that going to break something else? Or is there another (correct) way to make my account work fully, and require a card. The Yubikey I have has NFC in so should work with my phone.
