RIS on CC3?

Is it at all possible to use RIS on CC3 networks successfully?

 

I was thinking what if you but a build disk image on RIS - then you dont need to carry a pen. Just set it off using Network Boot?

 

Any thoughts?

The CC3 build process works in two stages with a reboot in-between, and needs to write back to the floppy/USB. I don't think this is possible via RIS/PXE.

On a similar note - does anyone know how to convert a ghost boot disk to a RIS/PXE/WDS image?

 

We did this at my last school.... Just can't remember how.
