Zyxel Nebula Client Data

Hi everyone

 

We are testing a Zyxel NWA110AX AP as a possible replacement for our ageing Aerohive network that still costs 3.5K a year to access the cloud management system.

 

Although the AP works perfectly through the Nebula cloud portal, it seems very unreliable at displaying connected devices. We currently have 3 test devices all connected to the ssid and browsing the internet, but nebula shows zero connected devices. It did show some data briefly, then decided not to!

 

We have opened the relevant firewall ports and are using the free version of nebula.

 

Does anyone on here use either the free or paid version of nebula and have any suggestions.

 

Alternatively, we will have to look at a different solution as we really need to be able to see and manage wireless clients and have about 45 AP's to replace.

A big Thank you to Jamie Fowler at Atom IT for putting me in touch with Daniel Marsh at Zyxel. He was able to help me sort the issue quickly by getting me to SSH on to the AP to show that NTP was not working. A quick firewall edit and all fixed.
