Just ordered a Aruba instant on to replace my 15+ year old hp switch at home. Has anyone else used these at work or at home? What are your thoughts on them if you have ?

I have one of their APs, rather than the switches but for what it's worth, I like it. It does the job well and it wasn't too expensive. I like the InstantOn web portal and Aruba aren't charging a subscription for it so that's good.

As far as I can see, the switches are the replacement for the old HPE OfficeConnect line. I've used an 1820 at work and I've got an old 1810 at home. They do the job I want from them and for the price the feature list is pretty good. The InstantOn switches can be managed locally or with the InstantOn cloud service.

They're never going to compete with the higher end Aruba stuff but they're not meant to.

I've recently bought a few of the Aruba Instant On 1930 48G PoE Switches. I just manage them locally rather than using the InstantOn cloud management, but for the price point I can't complain, it does exactly what we need.
