ultimatepie Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 I am having an issue at the moment where google chrome is not allowing staff to preview and print pdf's to available printers. This only happens when the current staff are signed in to Google accounts. only started happening today. No changes to group policy.
TwistedHelixis Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 (edited) Do you use File Stream? EDIT - Ignore me, just noticed you mention Chrome Edited April 28, 2021 by TwistedHelixis
Protec Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 We had this happen on Zellis where it would do the same thing if you tried to print out a pay slip. It randomly fixed itself so no idea what the cause was.
smurfomatic Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 Similar issues here with some computers, printing from Chrome and just get the spinning wheel of death without being able to select a destination. Ctrl + Shift + P seems to work fine.
paulkerton Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 What version of Chrome are you using? 90 has just been released, and the current build is 90.0.4430.93
smurfomatic Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 image of issue Same here, computers in question running Chrome 90 (as are other computers which print fine)
ultimatepie Posted April 29, 2021 Author Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) running Chrome 90 at the moment, I Have disabled print preview in gpo which is a quick bodge, I am waiting for google to fix this bug, unless its an issue with cloud print and the proxy is blocking it.
