boomam Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Hi. Im currently testing LanView3/TightVNC for network monitoring. Whilst ive finally managed to get it all working, the connection to each machine seems to vary from a noticable delay/jerkyness, to alot of jerkyness. Is there a way to smooth it out? As im asuming its possible, seeing as our NSS clients are silky smooth...? Thanks in advance all. .
Ashm Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I find using other VNC clients such a UltraVNC to be a lot smoother with faster response.
Geoff Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 If you do use UltraVNC, make sure you install the video driver. It helps a lot with this.
boomam Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 Does anyone know of a MSI around for UltraVNC? Ive been trying to create one, but im not having much luck. .
richard.thomas Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 As mentioned before make sure you install the mirror video driver. It helps a lot! There's usually one recommended with each VNC solution you download. Here's a link to one that may work for you DemoForge Mirage Driver (DFMirage video hook driver)
