We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Skills Trainer to provide support to staff and pupils. You will support the College’s Digital Strategy fostering creativity and fluency across multiple platforms, enhancing the culture of learning and enquiry.

 

This role will suit an individual who has previous experience as an IT Trainer, particularly in the delivery of Microsoft Office 365 applications; such as OneNote, Teams and SharePoint. The successful candidate will have excellent and up to date technical knowledge, an understanding of GDPR and be confident in their ability to present features and convey best practice.

 

The role will require coordination and delivery of training sessions as well as responding to ad-hoc requests for assistance and support during the working day. Please note that due to the current pandemic, remote working will be available.

 

The successful candidate should be self-motivated and organised, have excellent communication and collaboration skills and a helpful/friendly demeanor. An understanding of VLEs - notably Firefly, would be of benefit but is not essential. If you’re inquisitive with an aptitude to exploit systems and processes for organisational success, even better.

 

Contracted working hours are 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday - Friday with a one-hour break for lunch.

 

Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks plus bank holidays.
