That's not always the case that you can though, you can't just refuse a FSM kid meals just because you don't like their picture similarness etc (as a random example), and with limited times at lunch/break etc finding staff who know the students isn't always going to work

 

I'm not saying you refuse them food, I'm saying you take a moment to confirm their identity first. We always have at least two staff members on duty in the canteen, so could resolve this pretty quickly. Different schools may vary.

 

We get it all the time where people claim it wasn't them, even though it's biometric, as they've bought something their parent don't like and they've complained when the reports come through to them and the kids say it wasn't me etc

 

When we proved the identification had been biometric, we typically found the child admitted to buying the food, or if they knew parents wouldn't like it, they might have said they bought it for a friend who didn't have any money on their account. Again, your experience may vary.
