Hello,

We provide IT support to a school that's been using Office 365 for many years.

One aspect of their configuration is that when staff login to their Outlook Web service, they have a button at the top "Shared Files", that provides access to the school's Sharepoint files.

My question is how/if it is possible to disable this feature. It appears automatically when a new user account is created, so assume any controls for this are buried somewhere in the Sharepoint Admin center, but haven't found anything so far.

Thanks in advance.

That is excellent, thank you.

We inherited this site, so I don't know what the history behind it is.

What I really need to be able to do, is remove this feature for some users, while leaving it for others. I'll try experimenting with the custom themes and perhaps I can create two versions. I suppose the other option is to manage access to the SharePoint files separately to limit access to certain staff.
