Manny-Tech Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 As all schools are about to take part in this process. How are you asking students and staff to report back results? The quickest and easiest solution would be a Google/ Microsoft Form with date test taken and result that will be collated straight into a csv. What other options are people using?
Manny-Tech Posted March 2, 2021 Author Posted March 2, 2021 Yes likewise, but also the school. I've just had an email from Wonde that looks interesting pointing to the following: https://testregister.co.uk/ 1
Manny-Tech Posted March 2, 2021 Author Posted March 2, 2021 It is just under £500 per annum. No thanks!
Jamman960 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 If the wonde solution integrates with Gov.uk and pushes the results upstream without our end users having to first give results to gov.uk and then us it may actually be worthwhile but I suspect they'd still need to submit results to gov.uk first and then inform the school. I've just setup a microsoft form to handle it so far, I might take a quick look at wonde's solution though.
mullet_man Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 It is just under £500 per annum. No thanks! For the amount of hours a whole team of staff will have to do, and if the Wonde system helps reduce that dramatically then I think that's a fair price.
TMBS Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Have you seen their bulk upload form? Sounded promising until you saw the Don'ts! Don't use Cloud, Don't import from MIS... You can't copy and paste into the form. We're setting up 30 Chromebooks in the canteen, students go down and complete the registration form then go for their test.
Jamman960 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 FYI when using the Gov.uk link and entering the school's name or postcode the input is case sensitive so requires capitals in the school's name or a space in the postcode to be recognised. I've setup a page on our own website with links to the how-to document, the Gov.uk link as well as an embedded MS form to submit the details to us. A QR code linking to this page is going to be stuck onto each of the self-test kit boxes.
Simcfc73 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 You can copy and paste into the upload form, it just validates the fields. You've just got to make sure it matches what's expected. I've changed mine now so my original one matches the columns for the upload one... After a days testing I can just filter the ones with a record, copy it into the DfES one and it uploads fine. I think along the line it's messed something up as the drop down for male/female isn't working but you have to put these in exactly or you get the error.
NotSoFast Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 (edited) Has anyone else had problems with the bulk uploading of registrations? Ours seems to upload with no errors but the registrations don't get added. EDIT: by trial and error we found a problem row. All the rest uploaded fine. We typed the row in with no copy/paste and it uploaded fine. Still don't know what was wrong with it though... Edited March 4, 2021 by NotSoFast

Does it validate the spreadsheet your uploading and then not accept them or at a different stage, ours seems to be fine with pasting but wanted to check.
Simcfc73 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Has anyone managed to order more home testing kits for their school? We only were given 54 with a staff count of over 100 so we need more but I can only find where to order the lateral kits for testing in school. Bit late now, bit worries our next delivery will be short too.

I know there's a link for individuals to order it, rather than in bulk, as you can now order for your entire family too if working in education as we had the link emailed to us last week: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests You can order kits to test your household, childcare bubble or support bubble if at least one member: is a school or college pupil works in a school or college (this includes temporary workers or volunteers) Steve 1
