Training Resources for G Suite Admin for Education

Recently moved from a full Windows AD environment to a school which uses both. I've been able to work out the basic G Suite Admin functions myself, but I'm getting some more tricky requests in, and am in need of some proper training.

 

Firstly, any decent YouTube videos that focus specifically on Google Workspace for Education? I've watched a few "normal" G-Suite ones, but they typically explain a lot of the paid-for features we don't get.

 

Second, any recommended paid-for training that anyone's done? Part of my benefits package was 2 x paid training courses a year, so I might as well use it.

I've mostly self learnt so can't help with training materials but I would defiantly look into using GAM or GAM Advanced. This allows api access to control a lot of things the admin console doesn't.

Google used to do free admin training but this seems to have been outsourced to Coursera:

I used C-Learning when we first went to Google but I'm not sure what training they offer at the moment. They're really helpful though so worth getting in touch!

C-Learning, Vitalize IT, AppsEvents and Canopy all offer training for this sort of thing.

Might be worth getting a few of you together though to do this, to keep the costs down - even if its likely going to be virtual.

Self taught, training is good but you will find that you will be training yourself for a long time with google.
