Recover Deleted Teams Assignment

A teacher has deleted an assignment within Teams and would like it recovered

I was able to retrieve the students work

 

They have now asked for me to recover the marksheet\rubric\assignment score given to the work a brief browse for recovering deleted Assignments in Teams keep pointing me to uservoice and asking for it to be a feature.

 

Has anyone successfully been able to recover one before. I've checked in sharepoint\Teams recycle bin

We had this a while back and I wasnt able to find a solution so contacted MS. They confirmed it wasn't possible at the back end of last year. Hopefully it has changed now.
