Sheridan Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I've just logged into our VLSC account (we've had an active OVS-ES agreement for years) to find the Products and Keys section almost empty - only showing 9 Windows 7 and Office 2010 products. We're missing everything, Server, Windows 10, Office 2013-2019 etc - I've contacted MS but has anyone else had this issue?
itdaveh Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Hi Sheridan, I had this happen this year you will need to contact your supplier and they will get this sorted for you, hope this helps 1
Sheridan Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Hi Sheridan, I had this happen this year you will need to contact your supplier and they will get this sorted for you, hope this helps Thanks - I've contacted our reseller as well - its a bit worrying staring at an empty VLSC!
Steve21 Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Just logged on ours and yep showing the same (Well 5 keys! ) It's still showing the product keys under the licensing page (As in Licenses > Relationship Summary > Licensing ID > Product Keys), so not sure if it's now "right" as they were making changes to how it showed them, but can't see how you'd download anything with that route... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/licensing/products-keys-faq Based on this now it says it won't give any KMS keys unless you request them: No KMS (Key Management Service) key displayed on VLSC for Open License customers KMS keys are no longer pre-assigned to Open agreements as use of MAK (Multiple Activation Key) keys is the preferred method for activation. KSM keys can be assigned, by exception, to Open customers who meet the minimum KMS activation threshold for Windows Server, OS, and Office. To request such an exception, please submit a Web Form request to VLSC Support. To do this, you must have VLSC Administrator, Key Administrator, or Key Viewer permissions and provide the following information: Agreement / Enrollment Number or License ID and Authorization. Product Name (include version and edition). Last 5 characters of the product key. The number of host activations required. Business Justification or Reason for Deployment. Maybe a clamp down on dodgy KMS keys being sold? Steve
Sheridan Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Yes, our Product Keys are still showing, but we can't download anything - bit of a pain when you need the latest iso for Windows/Server 2019!
CHiLL Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I've also lost access to my downloads and keys section, though it does still list our valid license agreements and I can see the list of product keys separately.
dcwhitworth Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 (edited) We have the same issue, I'm guessing some sort of global problem. Edit - just checked again and ours have all reappeared. Edited February 25, 2021 by dcwhitworth
Sheridan Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Yes, ours has just re-appeared as well! Must have been a widespread issue or update
Michael Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Once all keys are restored, you can export all to a CSV file directly from VLSC which is handy.
mullet_man Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Sorry to drag up a old thread but does anyone know where you log a support request for VLSC? Am sure I've done it in the past to request KMS keys but the email address I've used has bounced back.
mullet_man Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Found it - must have had a blonde moment. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/licensing/contact-us
