dsmith8 Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 (edited) Hey everyone, We are currently having an issue where the MS Teams Pinned Icon on our start menu is not working (see attached picture) Here is our XML Layout, I've tried linking it to %LOCALAPPDATA% but that did not seem to work either. BOOT Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Pinned tiles will need a matching shortcut in the start menu; for apps, the app will need to be installed before it'll show. For hybrid apps like Teams... I'd check that Teams is actually installing for the user first. Then I'd pin a working shortcut and export that layout.
DaveTheTech Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 I think that it could be different if you have deployed the machine installer. Could you try pointing it to "%AppData%\Microsoft\Teams\current\Teams.exe"?
