Prevent Users Initiating Their Own Upgrades?

Hello,

 

One of our users has decided to upgrade to Windows 10 20H2 (we use 20H1) and cause compatibility issues.

 

We issue the patches via SCCM. Is there a way to stop users from installing updates themselves and only allow updates pushed via SCCM please?

Not sure what compatibility issues there is we've upgraded most of our estate, although updates are pushed users can control to some degree.

If you mean via Windows Updates you could just disable the entire option for them via GPO but it will hit other bits like drivers etc from WU, but if you're full SCCM shouldn't be a problem:

Or do you mean they ran the package/update via Software Center?
