SENIOR IT ENGINEER

Pay and grading review pending-salary range £24,661-£31,997

37 hours, full time permanent position

 

Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) are looking to appoint a new Senior IT Engineer for its core IT team, who support core Trust activities and our primary academies.

 

We are looking for an individual who has strong experience and a wide technical understanding of infrastructure, servers, clients and software, but also someone who is dynamic and front-facing who will be able to gain the confidence of staff and work with them to deliver high quality internal CPD to facilitate upskilling and getting the very best out of recent significant IT investments.

 

Experience of on-premise to cloud migrations for servers and services would be an advantage.

 

This is an exciting time to join our large and dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools, with a Free School (primary) to open in 2021.

 

Cornwall has a hugely diverse landscape with nearly a third of the county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cornwall is almost completely surrounded by sea with dramatic coastline, captivating fishing harbours, spectacular sandy beaches and a rich cultural heritage.
