Transcribe a Video into Text Automatically

I need to be able to transcribe a video file (from Teams) into text to use as minutes. Any suggestions? Preferably free.

if you upload it to microsoft stream and set the language it'll transcribe it for you.

Just a warning - I had M365 transcribe a voice message left for one user. The audio was entirely innocent, the transcript would make Deadpool blush!

Unfortunately we are no longer using stream to store our videos and it's not an option with OneDrive or SharePoint at the moment.

It would make the minutes more interesting.

Word has a transcribe option next to the dictate button. Split the video and audio using VLC first.

Actually that was wasn't to bad and worked well but i want to pass this on and can see management having issues with this.

 

Any other suggestion?

Yes it did. Didn't seem as accurate though. Noticed that it's limited to 300 minutes a month.
