Raise your hand function not working in teams

Hi,

 

I have had a few staff say recently when using teams, they are not receiving notifications from students when using the raise your hand function.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have had one person say that to myself recently, but it was as simple as asking them to fully leave everything, quit Teams completely and then re-load it back up.

 

Sounds simple and stupid but that fixed the issue for me with the 1 case that i had.

Yeah a few items like this seem to be a case of people never restarting Teams. (Or closing it, and assuming it's restarted when it's actually running in toolbar)

I've found that functionality stops working when the Teams client is out of date. Get them to sign in via the browser and see if the same happens.
