Does anybody know the contact information for getting a DNS change for a school under the domain bedssch.co.uk ??

I had thing issue about 6 years ago whereby I needed to verify our domain by using DNS, problem was we didn't use that domain because we had changed a few years before that.

 

I managed to find out by speaking to my local authority who advised which company I should contact. It seems the local authority sold/moved our old domain to a private company.

 

They were really nice and didn't charge for a DNS change?

Do you mean bedssch.co.uk or do you mean beds.sch.uk?

 

If you do a Nominet lookup for your school's domain name, it ought to tell you the registrar. You can then contact them to ask about making changes. I know that E2BN managed those domains for beds schools, but I don't know if they did them all, or still do necessarily.

The full reference is .bedssch.co.uk. I assume the main body will control all subdomains.

The registrar is 123-reg, I've already done the lookup but they are reluctant to provide registrant information if it's not marked for public consumption.

 

E2BN might be worth a poke though. I'll try them. Thanks.

I recovered a school domain by going through nominet. I'm afraid I can't remember the details though.
