Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong category but there is not one for MDM that I can see.

Could anyone shed some light on this please. If you manage a trust IT do you have 1 apple school manager for your trust or 1 separate school manager per school?

We have an 16-18 special school and Apple School Manager and Mosyle/Meraki have denied or request, even though it's education apparently we can't join as it's Higher Education.

So I was thinking of creating 1 apple business manager account for our entire trust.

Thanks

This is rubbish.....

Any education institution can sign up for ASM, I have Oxford Uni and Aston Uni with multiple ASM accounts...If you try and sign up for Apple Business Manager you will need a DUNS number, which as an education site you can never get.

You should only sign up for one Apple School Manager if your trust's own budgets are BUYING THE IPADS, if not then an instance of ASM for each school.

If that suits your business model then it’s probably the right thing to do. You can run a global iOS/ MDM deployment out of one apple manager account so a trust with a few schools should be fine.
