Exchange to mail migration incredibly slow

Hi all,We are testing the migration of our emails from an onsite exchange server to gmail. We have done a couple of dry runs and it is incredible slow. First account we tested 2GB of data took 9 hours. The second test of 3 users was even around the same rate.Is this normal?Exchange 201350Mb leased lineWe were hoping to migrate 1 year's worth of data over a week long half term break, to then go back and migrate older emails for the finance and hr departments. But at the transfer rate we are currently seeing it will take over a month.Any suggestions of how to speed things along? Or how we might identify the cause of the slow speed?Also, does anyone have recommendations on how to approach the migration, should we try and get blocks of users migrated now and then go back to them and 'top up' their emails with the ones received after their initial migration? Or just do as planned run once for everyone for an entire year's worth of data and then once completed go back and add more for those that require.Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.Cheers

I remember our Exchange export was slow, but I don't think it was quite that slow. Can you give the Exchange server any more RAM or processing power (I'm assuming your Exchange server is running on a virtual machine)? Exchange seems to use up RAM, in particular.

I would imagine you're also hitting rate limiting at the gmail end for the migration
