Teams - Students left in lobby although they have requested to join

Anyone else experiencing an issue with Teams whereby students have notified staff they are waiting in lobby but Teachers dont receive notification?

 

Some students are not automatically being added to a meeting, they are joining and waiting in the lobby but staff have not been alerted that they are there. Some teachers have had some students wait in the lobby for the whole lesson and have been blissfully unaware. If they staff member asks them to join they are let in.

 

They aren't being notified in the way you would expect.

 

anyone else experiencing this issue?
