Setting AD usthentication through to a webpage

Is it possible to link AD credentials through a browser to a specific web page using Group Policy

 

So for example a user opens up Chrome or edge to go to http://www.office.com and it uses their AD credentials to login seamlessly (silently or just does it without them having to do anything.)

 

Alternatively is it possible to pre populate a browser with login credentials and then lock these down so that they can't be deleted or changed?

 

We would be looking to do this with one account only on one set of devices in their own OU.

It depends on the website, but the specific example you gave, it definitely does. You'll need to set up Azure AD connect - I managed following a guide linked on here. Once you've got that set up, you can control it using GPOs.

 

It's worth setting up as it gives options for SSO for lots of web services.
