Griff Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Bit late to the party moving to Relay but we have a Rocket appliance on site that we use for everything else but the ChromeBooks we are moving on to Relay. I cannot get the ChromeBooks to work without putting them on an internal ignore on the Rocket which I don't really want to do. I am told that the Relay Smart Agent extension should talk to the Rocket and the Rocket will ignore them and let Relay do its thing but I must be missing something. I have the DNS forward lookup zone setup for Relay....any other gotchas that people know of with this? Thanks
Brimstone Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Have a look here... https://help.lightspeedsystems.com/s/article/relay-and-rocket-appliance-best-practices?language=en_US
Griff Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 Thanks bud I have worked through this list but problem still persists. Its almost like the Rocket doesn't know it needs to pass the device onto Relay unless I tell it specifically to ignore it but internal ignores give me the chills. I guess my only other option is to put ChromeBooks on statics then put that range on an internal ignore on the Rocket.
