How/What do you label your faulty computers/hardware with?

When you get a computer that you are waiting on parts for or that is broken how do you label it? I've found stickers just fall off.

Masking tape, but not the cheap stuff

Normally I staple gun a message to the screen saying "this screen is broken and awaiting parts" never had one fall off yet ;-)

I use a cheap brother QL-570 label printer. I've never had a label fall off - is your work area particularly damp?

I think it's more that they are cheap labels to be honest

Yes - they seem to write on pretty much anything! I found a pack in the back of the art cupboard. Most of the teachers were too young to have heard of them...
