IT Technician/Apprentice IT Technician - Faringdon Learning Trust, Oxon

Faringdon Learning Trust has a vacancy for an ICT Technician / Apprentice ICT Technician to support the Trusts ICT provision across our Primary and Secondary Schools. As part of the ICT Services team, the post holder will provide technical support for the ICT infrastructure across our Trusts school sites.

 

*If you are interested in undertaking an apprenticeship, support for a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Computing Apprenticeship at Swindon New College would be considered. This would be an 18-month apprenticeship, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, paid at NJC grade 3 £18,198 – £18,562 per annum FTE (actual annual salary in the region £17,214 – £17,558).

 

We are looking for a candidate who:

 

• Has excellent IT skills and understanding;

• Is keen to expand their technical knowledge of ICT systems and infrastructure support;

• Has a solution orientated, methodical approach to problem solving and testing;

• Is confident with Microsoft applications and systems including Office 365.
